Matthias Holzammer was appointed Head Business Group Europe and member of the Group Executive Board as of April 1, 2012.

Matthias Holzammer has held senior operative management positions with various international suppliers to the automotive industry. From 2009 until 2011 he was Managing Director Production with the international automotive supplier Keiper, Kaiserslautern. In mid 2011, this company merged with Johnson Controls, where in his last position as General Manager Product Business Unit “Metal Region Europe” he was responsible for integrating the metals business of Johnson Controls, Keiper and CRH. From 1993 until 2009 he held leading functions in manufacturing and logistics for the automotive suppliers Brose, Faurecia and Beru. 

Matthias Holzammer graduated as industrial engineer from Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Science, specializing in production and logistics.
