Theta-Cell™ is an extremely lightweight semi-rigid PU-foam formulation for body-mounted acoustic absorbers in the engine bay, such as hoodliners, outer dashes and tunnel insulators. The technology scores with a 15 kg/m3 density and impressive acoustic absorption. Theta-Cell ™ products withstand temperatures of up to 150° C at long term and 190° C at peak. Additionally, they are oil as well as water repellent and fulfill latest flammability requirements for the engine bay.
