The Autoneum Alpha Cabin has been specifically designed for the measurement of acoustic absorption characteristics of materials and parts used in noise control in road vehicles. The Alpha Cabin is one third the size of an international standard reverberation room which makes it an ideal measurement system for the automotive industry. The acoustic absorption of the Alpha Cabin itself is very low and the design ensures a high level of sound insulation to keep the background noise level very low in the frequency range of interest.
