Precise and user friendly measurement of porosity of felts and foams

Autoneum Porpos uses the "air-based" method to measure the porosity (ratio of air to overall volume) of felts and foams. Via a process of compressing and de-compressing air, the sample porosity can be derived from the resulting pressure changes. Porpos is perfectly suited not only for experts: it guides the user through the preparation and the software controls the measurement cycle as well as evaluates the results.
