SILVER (Smart Nastran Integrated ALgorithm for Vibration Evaluation by Autoneum) is a simulation tool, which predicts the ideal shape and location of dampers based on a single vibration FE simulation performed with Nastran.

This tool simplifies the design process of a damping package.

SILVER provides the ranking of the vehicle panels to be treated based on the highest vibration levels and makes it possible to efficiently evaluate a particular damping solution (e.g. reference damping configuration versus a proposed modification). It is applied directly on the same FE models used by OEMs for NVH optimization.

Its dedicated Autoneum-developed interface for data post-processing is integrated using Nastran DMAP.
