My name is Songting and I’m completing my technician apprenticeship in Pinghu, one of Autoneum’s Chinese plants. Together with my colleagues I’m responsible for the flawless production of textile lightweight underbodies made of Ultra-Silent. My daily tasks center around operation of the plant, including troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. Among other things, this includes machine calibration and the collection of machine data as well as checking that they are working properly and replacing melt filters and spin packs.
I’m impressed by the career opportunities for apprentices and our targeted support. I learn a lot in the training courses on offer not just about material and equipment but also about successful teamwork. I have also the opportunity to learn English, which enables me to develop at a personal and professional level. I look forward to many successful years at Autoneum.
