Mit der Kotierung an der SIX Swiss Exchange unter dem B\u00f6rsenk\u00fcrzel AUTN startete ein neuer Schweizer Automotive Zulieferer in eine unabh\u00e4ngige Zukunft.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Was als strategischer Carve out begann, entwickelte sich in den folgenden Jahren zur Erfolgsgeschichte eines globalen Technologie und Marktf\u00fchrers im akustischen und thermischen Management f\u00fcr Fahrzeuge. Der Hauptsitz in Winterthur (Schweiz) bildet dabei das Zentrum eines weltweit pr\u00e4senten Unternehmens, das nahezu alle f\u00fchrenden Automobilhersteller beliefert.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategische Trennung mit klarer Zielsetzung<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der erste Handelstag von Autoneum war kein klassischer B\u00f6rsengang. Er markierte den Abschluss der strategischen Abspaltung vom Rieter Konzern, die im April 2011 von den Aktion\u00e4rinnen und Aktion\u00e4ren genehmigt worden war. Seither verfolgen zwei grundlegend unterschiedliche Gesch\u00e4ftsbereiche ihre eigenen Wege: Textilmaschinen unter dem Namen Rieter und Automotive Systeme als Autoneum.<\/p>\n<p>Die Verselbstst\u00e4ndigung verschaffte Autoneum den strategischen Fokus, die unternehmerische Flexibilit\u00e4t und die Kapitalmarktsichtbarkeit, die notwendig sind, um sich als reiner Automotive Zulieferer in einem dynamischen globalen Markt erfolgreich zu positionieren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auf starken industriellen Wurzeln aufgebaut<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Autoneum wurde zwar 2011 als eigenst\u00e4ndiges Unternehmen gegr\u00fcndet, seine Expertise reicht jedoch deutlich weiter zur\u00fcck. Bereits ab den 1980er Jahren baute Rieter gezielt Kompetenzen in den Bereichen Ger\u00e4usch- und Hitzeschutzkomponenten f\u00fcr die Automobilindustrie auf \u2013 durch eine Reihe von Akquisitionen und strategischen Partnerschaften in Europa, Nordamerika und Asien.<\/p>\n<p>Wichtige Grundsteine waren die \u00dcbernahme von Unikeller (Schweiz) im Jahr 1984 sowie weiterer Unternehmen wie der CHG Group (Deutschland), AGFK (Schweiz) und Sipavel (Portugal). In den 1990er Jahren wurde das Portfolio unter anderem durch Firth Furnishings (UK), spezialisiert auf Fahrzeugteppiche, sowie durch das Joint Venture UGN mit dem japanischen Zulieferer Nihon Tokushu Toryo (Nittoku). Weitere \u00dcbernahmen in Italien und Brasilien sowie Joint Ventures in den USA und China st\u00e4rkten die globale Pr\u00e4senz und technologische Tiefe.<\/p>\n<p>Unter dem Namen Rieter Automotive Systems entwickelte sich dieses Gesch\u00e4ft zu einem weltweit f\u00fchrenden Automotive Zulieferer. Zum Zeitpunkt des Spin offs verf\u00fcgte Autoneum also bereits \u00fcber jahrzehntelange Engineering Expertise, langj\u00e4hrige Kundenbeziehungen und ein globales Produktions und Entwicklungsnetzwerk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mit der Automobilindustrie gewachsen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seit der Verselbstst\u00e4ndigung hat Autoneum seine Marktposition kontinuierlich ausgebaut. Das Unternehmen investierte gezielt in Innovation, erweiterte seine Pr\u00e4senz in Wachstumsm\u00e4rkten und passte sein Portfolio an zentrale Branchentrends wie Elektrifizierung, Leichtbau und Nachhaltigkeit an.<\/p>\n<p>In den vergangenen f\u00fcnfzehn Jahren meisterte Autoneum tiefgreifende strukturelle Ver\u00e4nderungen der Automobilindustrie und baute seine globale Pr\u00e4senz durch neue Produktionsstandorte sowie ausgew\u00e4hlte Akquisitionen konsequent weiter aus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Autoneum heute<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heute betreibt Autoneum mehr als 70 Produktionsstandorte weltweit und besch\u00e4ftigt \u00fcber 16.000 Mitarbeitende.
