Autoneum is extending by a further year its sponsoring of the World Car Awards which began in 2014. This continuation of the successful cooperation between the market leader in acoustic and thermal management and the organizers of the leading industry award was disclosed at the Paris Motor Show during today’s announcement of vehicles nominated in the five World Car Award categories.

As Presenting Partner, Autoneum will co-host the 2017 World Car Awards starting with today’s announcement of the nominations at the Paris Motor Show, followed by presentation of the shortlist at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017 and the winners’ announcement at the New York Auto Show in April 2017. Autoneum will also co-present the annual “Global Automotive Trends Report” published by the market research company Prime Research to coincide with the World Car Awards.

An international jury of more than 70 leading industry journalists presents the awards in the categories “World Car of the Year”, “World Luxury/Performance Car”, “World Green Car” and “World Car Design of the Year”. Now for the first time there is also a new “World Urban Car” award in recognition of this growing vehicle segment. Held every year since 2004, the World Car Awards are the highest-profile industry award.
