International Zero Waste Day: Driving Circularity at Autoneum

On International Zero Waste Day, Autoneum highlights its progress toward a zero waste future and a circular economy. Reducing waste is a core element of our sustainability strategy and a key lever to protect resources, meet regulatory expectations, and strengthen long term business resilience.

In 2025, Autoneum implemented 55 waste reduction and recycling projects worldwide, supported by our ten Expert Networks. These initiatives helped achieve a 39.4% reduction in non hazardous waste compared with the 2019 baseline, underlining our commitment to measurable environmental progress.

Our zero waste ambition is closely linked to product innovation. Recent innovations including N-Join1, Flexi-Light PET, and fully recyclable frunk components demonstrate how monomaterial design, recycled content, and efficient production can support circularity across the automotive value chain.
